Hello Hopper Families!
This whole week has been about spoiling our Teachers! Everyday, we did something special for them! We kicked off the week full of 80’s-themed fun with breakfast for the staff - yogurt parfaits, long johns, coffee and juice. They also got to choose a scrunchie/sunglasses, and bracelets. Special thanks to Lauren Abel for lending a hand! We took a trip down memory lane and had a candy bar that Madison South & Jess Baumgardner set up for the staff! They were also able to grab a coupon for a free coffee from Wawa. We also had a totally rad pizza party- all while 80’s music played in the background! Each staff member was also able to grab a $10 gift card, all donated by RES families. We appreciate our friends at Caruso’s Neffsville for always supporting our school and giving us a discount on the food! Also, thank you to Erica Wasilewski and Courtney Melamed for being our fresh pizza runners! Summer vacation is just a few short weeks away! Please keep an eye on your child's folder for important end of year info. Our principal sent an email this past week with many important dates, so please check your inbox for that. Looking for a great camp for your kids? Then check out Camp Invention, held right here at RES, hosted by our very own Mr. Carney! Dates are June 12-15th. Please check the flyer for more info.
Our last PTO Meeting of the schoolyear will be held on Tuesday, May 16th, at 9:30am at RES. We will be having coffee and donuts to celebrate. Please join us! Also, we have several chairperson opportunities available for next schoolyear! Please take a look at the document and see what might be a good fit with your interests and availability! We'd love to welcome some new faces and voices. Our event/program chairpersons are absolutely critical to maintaining a fun, engaging, inclusive school community.
SPRING FESTIVAL INFO:
Our annual Spring Cultural Festival will take place on Friday, May 19th, from 6pm-8pm at RES! Here is what you need to know to prepare for that evening... 1. Attached is the flyer, which lists all of the activities we will have that night! Come hungry because we'll have lots of tasty food options, too! 2. Teach our school community about your culture/heritage! We need volunteers to host a cultural table in the gym. As part of the evening, we will have many prize baskets assembled by each homeroom, as well as donations of wonderful items from our community. We recommend pre-purchasing your tickets so that you do not have to wait in the ticket line at the festival. GIVE your tickets towards the basket(s)/item(s) you really want, and then you'll have a chance to GET to take those items home with you! KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION: Please help spread the word to friends & neighbors! Ms. Capoferri and the Kindergarten team are eager to meet next year’s incoming Hoppers. We have some opportunities coming up for new Kindergarteners to visit us, BUT, they MUST be registered! Now is the time!
