Snow Days :)

Hello Hoppers!

We hope you enjoyed our first "FID" day and 2 hour delay! What a great, extra long weekend! Tomorrow's weather also looks questionable, so make sure to check your email or the Manheim Township School District Facebook page for any closures or delays. Reminder- we also have an Early Dismissal this month on Tuesday, January 23rd at 1:40. Please mark your calendars.

2024-2025 Kindergarten Registration is open!

Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year is open! Click here for student registration information available on our district website. We are letting this run one more week, as it contains HELPFUL INFORMATION for the "GERM" season. We reached out to our wonderful school nurses for some helpful and timely information to share:

When should my child STAY HOME from school?

  • Fever of 100.4 degrees or greater

  • Vomiting and/or diarrhea (unless there is an underlying health condition)

  • Severe, persistent cough or other respiratory symptoms that your child cannot manage at school

When should my child RETURN to school?

  • Fever-free for 24 HOURS without taking any fever-reducing medicine such as Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin (ibuprofen)

  • Free from vomiting and/or diarrhea for 24 HOURS (unless there is an underlying health condition)

  • Manheim Township School District continues to encourage monitoring your child's temperature and symptoms before the school day and encourages children with an elevated temperature or continued symptoms to stay home

Following these guidelines helps reduce the spread of illness in our building and community. It's the right thing to do! If you're not sure, please call Reidenbaugh and press the prompt to reach the school nurse.

Some other notes:

  • Clorox wipes are always a welcome (and optional) donation to your child's classroom! Teachers appreciate them so that students can wipe down their desks to minimize the spread of illness. We suggest reaching out to your child's teacher(s) via Seesaw to ask if they need some!

  • The nurse's office is in need of size 7/8 pants for boys and girls.
