Hello Hopper Families!
Next week, October 24th- 28th, will be Red Ribbon Week. This is a week dedicated to making healthy choices and drug prevention in our school systems and communities. Everyday we will be wearing something different. Please view the attached flyer for specifics. We will also be collecting canned goods on Monday.
Just 1 week away will be our Fall Fest, held on Thursday, October 27th, please note that the start time is 5:30. It was originally scheduled to start at 6:00, but we are starting 30 minutes earlier to allow more light. We kindly ask that you do not arrive any earlier then 5:30, as we will be busy setting up. You will want to bring flashlights for our Trunk or Treat trail (thank you room parents!). Also, there will be food for purchase: hot dogs, donuts, apple cider, popcorn, cotton candy and Aunt Annie's pretzels. Cash or Venmo only. Thank you for all the candy/water bottle donations. Please have them turned in my Tuesday morning. Donation box is in the front hallway by the office.
We are still in need of volunteers to help run the event. Please grab a friend and consider donating 30 minutes of your time. Here is that signup genius.
If your child plans on participating in the pumpkin contest, please send an email to reidpto@gmail.com. Target gift cards are awarded to first, second and third place! This is for RES students only. Please include an index card with your child's name, grade and teacher. All pumpkins must be picked up at the end of the event.
SPIRIT WEAR is now available for purchase! Check out the following link for this year's selections of RES and Manheim Township gear for adults and children. Get a head start on your holiday shopping!
