Thinking about getting involved with the PTO, but not sure where/how to jump in? We have the perfect job for you! Our annual Cultural Spring Festival is coming up on Friday, May 17th. In addition to culture, food, fun, and friends, we also feature Give-and-Get tickets, with prizes including gift baskets and generous donations from local businesses. Give-and-Get ticket sales help to partially offset the cost of this large event.
We are looking for someone (or a few friends!) to coordinate the gathering of community prize donations. We will provide a list of businesses who have donated in the past, to get you started...and we welcome your new ideas & connections, as well! Our families really enjoy this every year, and we can't do it without a team of great people. It's a volunteer position that can be done on your own schedule, and we'd recommend beginning to reach out to businesses ASAP just to get started. We have a short week. There will be an EARLY DISMISSAL on Thursday, March 7th at 1:40pm and NO SCHOOL on Friday, March 8th and Monday, March 10th. Enjoy the long weekend :)
Attached is the ordering form for the YEARBOOK. You can also submit your order online. Instructions are on the flyer. Final day to order is March 29th.
SPRING FAMILY NIGHT & BOOKFAIR: This will be held on Thursday, March 27th from 5:00pm-7:30pm, here at RES. We have added an extra half hour to allow more time after work. The gym will be changed into the "Grasshopper Gallery" for our PROJECT FAIR and will be filled with wonderful creations by RES students! If your child is interested in participating, please submit their project info on the link below by March 20th. We encourage all to participate! The flyer is also attached for more info.
READING SPIRIT WEEK will be March 25th-28th. All students are encouraged to participate!
Monday, March 25th: To show our RES pride, wear Hopper spirit wear or MT blue & white.
Tuesday, March 26th: Wear something with words on it.
Wednesday, March 27th: Wear your favorite sport/sports team shirt or athletic clothes.
Thursday, March 28th: Wear your favorite color.
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK is coming! "The one where we spoil our teachers!" During the week of May 6th, the PTO will be celebrating our teachers with a Friends-themed week full of food, treats, and fun! If you can, please consider donating to make this week extra special for our wonderful staff! Below is the sign up genius.
