We have a long weekend coming up. There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, March 29th and Monday, April 1st. There will also be an EARLY DISMISSAL on Thursday, April 4th, at 1:40pm. Enjoy this break, there is not one again till Memorial Weekend!
EXCITING NEWS: The PTO has partnered with Pottery Works and will be hosting a Painting Workshop on Saturday, April 20th at 10:00am. This is the perfect opportunity to create gifts for Mother's Day, Father's Day, or any occassion! Please see the attached flyer for more info!
Attached are the minutes from the past PTO Meeting. Leadership positions are open for next year, and chairpersons will be discussed and determined at the close of the year as well. Please consider becoming involved. Our next meeting is on Tuesday, April 9th at 9:30am at RES.
On Wednesday, March 27th from 5:00pm – 7:30pm, Families are invited to the OUT OF THIS WORLD SPRING FAMILY FUN NIGHT , where they will also have the opportunity to shop the Book Fair, visit our Cafe (venmo & cash accepted), listen to story time with teachers, plus other fun activities! PLEASE VIEW THE ATTACHED FLYER FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE EVENING!
The student's have been shopping the Book Fair in school this week. There are still some open spots for Parents to come in and help. Helpers will assist with locating books, staying on budget, and checking out at the registers. If you’d be interested in helping, you can sign up here:
Worried about sending cash in with your kid to shop? Then the e-wallet is the way to go! This allows you to add money to an account for your child to spend at the fair without having to bring cash. If you prefer to send cash, check, or credit card those are also welcomed. Profits from the fair come back to RES, as Scholastic Dollars which our teachers are then able to use to purchase new books, manipulatives, alternative seating, etc. to benefit all of their students.
READING SPIRIT WEEK will be March 25th-28th. All students are encouraged to participate!
Monday, March 25th: To show our RES pride, wear Hopper spirit wear or MT blue & white.
Tuesday, March 26th: Wear something with words on it.
Wednesday, March 27th: Wear your favorite sport/sports team shirt or athletic clothes.
Thursday, March 28th: Wear your favorite color.
Attached is the ordering form for the YEARBOOK. You can also submit your order online. Instructions are on the flyer. Final day to order is March 29th.
HERSHEYPARK: To order DISCOUNTED Hershey Park tickets for 2024 (valid during the 2024 season), complete the attached form with payment and return to school in an envelope marked “Hershey Park Tickets.” Payment can be sent via CASH, CHECK (payable to Reidenbaugh PTO), or VENMO (@Reidenbaugh-Pto).All forms must be received by Friday, April 26th.
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK is coming! "The one where we spoil our teachers!" During the week of May 6th, the PTO will be celebrating our teachers with a Friends-themed week full of food, treats, and fun!
