Please read this entire newsletter as it contains important dates and info about upcoming events.
We will be having our first EARLY DISMISSAL of the school year tomorrow on Thursday, October 8th at 1:40pm. There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 9th and Monday, October 12th. Enjoy the long weekend!
Our next PTO Meeting will be on Wednesday, October 14th at 9:30am, here at RES. We would love to have you!
October means FALL FESTIVAL! Please save the date of Saturday, October 17th from 11:00am till 1:00pm, here at RES! Join us for games, face painting, an inflatable obstacle course, food trucks, the very popular PUMPKIN CONTEST and more! Attached are flyers with more info and the QR code for our Pumpkin Contest, or simply click on the link below to sign up.
RED RIBBON WEEK: This will be from October 26th- 30th, we encourage your child to participate! Attached is the flyer.

ELECTION DAY MOVIE: On Tuesday, November 3rd, there will be an EARLY DISMISSAL at 1:40pm. The PTO will be hosting a MOVIE DAY at Penn Cinema feautring the movie GOAT (rated PG). Drop off to Penn Cinema is at 2:30 and pick up is 4:30. The cost is $20, which includes the ticket, popcorn and a drink. Pre registration is required by October 23rd. Sorry, no walk ins. DONUTS WITH A GROWN UP: This new event will be held from Monday, November 16th to Wednesday, November 18th. Due to the capacity of our cafeteria, we ask that ONLY ONE GROWNUP ATTEND ONLY ONE DATE. Please see the attached flyer for more info. Links to sign up are below, The grown up does NOT need clearances for this event.

ENTREPRENEUR FAIR: This very successful event is back again this year and will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd (along with our Winter Book Fair, more info on that to follow). Attached is a flyer for more info and also the link to sign up.
CALLING ALL RES FAMILY VETERANS: Our Student Counselor, Ms. Lantaff, is in search of Veterans to come visit RES for a special Read-aloud Day on Wednesday, November 11th, from 8:15-9:45. Please see the attached flyer for more info.
SNACK CART: Thank you for all the donations! Last month Teachers & Staff enjoyed orange creamsicle sodas and other orange snack to celebrate "CRUSHING" the first month of shool! This month we are seeking Full Sized Candybar doinations. Please see the attached flyer for more info. We are always accepting cash donations via Venmo (@Reidenbaugh-PTO, please lable "snack cart"), or send cash/check (made payable to Reidenbaugh PTO). We are also collecting Target gift cards. All donations can be sent into the front office in an envelope labeled "PTO snack cart". If you would like to donate a physical item, please reach out to reidpto@gmail.com to coordinate. Thank you!
RES DIRECTORY: For those who signed up, you should havae received an email with access. Plese allow 2 weeks for access after signing up. Please email us if you still haven't received anything after 2 weeks,
Join the RES 2026 - 2027 Directory! So far we have over 200 families registered! This is a great way for families to be able to connect for meet ups, playdates, and party invites. Flyer with the QR code is attached, or simply click on this link:

DISTRICT POLICY FOR VOLUNTEERS: PHOTO IDs Required for Pick Ups and Volunteers - The District has implemented last year a new check-in procedure . Anyone entering the building will be issued a printed badge from the office upon checking in. In order to get registered in the system, your DRIVERS LICENSE is required! Please be sure to have it with you or you will not be allowed entry. Also be sure to allow a few extra minutes when arriving to get checked in.
