Fall Festival Recap

Hello Hopper Families!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Fall Festival! It truly takes a village and we could not have pulled it off without the volunteers and candy donations. Once again, the Room Parents knocked it out of the park with the Trunk or Treat trail! It was truly amazing and we hope everyone had a great time!

Congrats to the winners of the contests:

Pumpkins- 1st Place Mason McIntyre, 2nd Place Roman of Mrs. Longridge class (sorry, I don't have last name) 3rd Place Brayden & Hunter Winfeld

Guessing contests: Candy guess- Samara Sable, candy corn guess - Kinsley Foley, spider guess - Brielle Sisco, candy eyeballs- Aashna Umarvadia and pumpkin weight (it was 31.2 pounds) Maddie Dreisbach

I still have prizes left Please email reidpto@gmail.com to claim!

REIDENBAUGH GIVES BACK: You may be wondering…”what did they do with all that extra food last night!?”

- We gave 6 dozen donuts and 2 gallons of cider to thank the MTFD for bringing their truck last night

- We dropped off 2 dozen donuts at MTPD this morning

- The many, many cooked hot dogs and left over hot dog buns were taken to Water Street Rescue Mission

- Of course, we also left a bunch of donuts, cider and hot dogs (to warm up for lunch) in the faculty room, for our fabulous staff.

Please note that the last day to order SPIRIT WEAR is Monday, October 31st. Check out the following link for this year's selections of RES and Manheim Township gear for adults and children. Get a head start on your holiday shopping! Contact Chris Latschar at latschar@alumni.psu.edu with any questions.

Our next PTO meeting will be held in the morning at 9:30 on Tuesday, November 1st, at RES. As you saw at the Fall Festival, these events are not possible without the PTO! Have any thoughts on the Fall Festival or Bingo Night? Have any new ideas or want to make a suggestion? Our meetings are open to everyone and we want to see new faces! The elementary years are short and when your kids are older, they won't want you coming into the school! Take advantage now :)

There will be no HOPPERVILLE BOOKSTORE this month. We are working through some new guidance from the school district office about our book sale, and hope to have a solution soon. Stay tuned and thanks for your patience.

This coming week, we will kick off our annual THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE! As in prior years, we will ask each student to bring a specific non-perishable food item to contribute to their class food basket. All information about this is coming very soon, so please sit tight!
