Greeting Hopper Families!
Did you see the show our school put on? WOW! Annie Jr. was fantastic! Kiddos, you all worked so hard and did a terrific job! A huge THANK YOU goes to Mrs. Parker who worked endlessly to make sure this show came to life. Thank you to all the volunteers. One person can have the drive but she can't do everything on her own. Our volunteers were our pillars. Parents, we can't thank you enough for all your support. Last but not least, our school faculty and staff are always there for us and willing to let us use the space before and after school and on the weekends; we make a mess, we shrink the teachers' space to work on props and costumes, and they receive us with a big smile and open arms. Thank you!!
Our elementary school kids have a total of four years at Reidenbaugh. During this time many children start the detaching process from their parents and feeling comfortable at school. Our students enter kindergarten without knowing how to read and barely writing their names. When they graduate 4th grade they are reading chapter books and writing more than one page of structured sentences! Can you grasp the growth your child goes through in elementary school? They learn about animals, weather, countries, community, and much more! This time is not coming back and we should make the most of it while we can. The PTO is here to help the school nurture and enrich our children's lives. We provide opportunities for your student to experience different things such as theater, planetarium and STEM while in a safe environment. What would you do to see your child thrive? Here is something you can do, which will be noticed and never forgotten: Be an active member of the Reidenbaugh PTO. It is YOUR choice what you do, how much time you spend on it, when you volunteer. All we want is for you to be a part of this big family and no volunteers be overloaded with projects. Come show your child you are a part of their school life. Come meet some amazing parents who understand the juggling of life, family, kids and work. Come help us make memories that last a lifetime!
PTO: Want to be more involved in your child's school and also meet a great group of people? Then the PTO is for you! We are looking for people to chair some of our events next year. There is an array of things you can help with. Let's talk and see which one is better suited for you, what activity you like the best. Please contact Rebecca Stanion at rebeccas1222@yahoo.com for more information.
