Hello Hopper Families!
We want to send a warm welcome to all new families and a welcome back to existing families! We are so excited for this school year! We can't believe it got here so quickly! Please make sure to check the green folder on a daily basis as it will contain important information. Check out all the first day papers, especially if you are new to the school. Lots of info about setting up a Sapphire account, dismissals, absences, etc. Also included is a calendar of all the awesome PTO events we have for the school year! We will be holding PTO meetings once a month, alternating between 9:30 am in person at RES (can do virtually) and 7pm via Zoom. We sure hope you can make one of these times work! Our first meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd, at 9:30am, here at RES. There are still some events in need of a chairperson for this school year. If you are interested in hearing more, please attend the meeting or reach out to Lauren Abel (Laurenabel82@gmail.com) for more information.
Our first week of school will be a short one due to Labor Day Weekend. There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, August 290th and Monday, September 1st.. Enjoy the long weekend!
STUDENT DIRECTORY: Join the RES 2025 - 2026 Directory! We are bringing back the school directory once again this school year. This is a great way for families to be able to connect for meet ups, playdates, and party invites. Using the link below, add your information (name, phone number, and email) so other families can find you. Only those families who choose to participate will be given access to the directory.. Flyer is attached is you need the QR code.
SPIRIT WEAR: Our Spirit wear Sale is open! Please use the link below. Paper flyers will be sent home by the end of the week.
Deadline to order is Friday, 9/12.
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT: This will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 2nd between 6:00pm-8:00pm. You may choose to attend at the time that works best for your family. There is no need to come for the duration of the evening.
You may choose to drop-in or to come during a presentation time with a grade level. Specialists (teachers of specials and individualized supports) will be available as well. Be sure to stop at the PTO table to check out this year's happenings.

6:00-6:15: Kindergarten & 2nd Grade
6:15-6:30: 1st & 3rd grade
6:35-6:50: Principal presentation in the Auditorium
6:50-7:05:2nd & 4th grade
7:05-7:20: 3rd & Kindergarten
7:20-7:35:4th & 1st grade
7:40-7:55: Principal presentation in the Auditorium
Don't forget about CLEARANCES!!! ALL VOLUNTEERS who plan to help at school in any capacity (party helper, classroom volunteer, PTO, etc) MUST have all necessary clearances. It's simple, and only takes a few minutes. Please check out this website: https://www.mtwp.net/community/volunteer-information/ to find out exactly what you need. Parents already with clearances, please make sure they are up to date. Just a reminder, please make arrangements to leave younger siblings and unenrolled children at home when you plan to come work with our students in the classrooms.
NEW DISTRICT POLICY FOR VOLUNTEERS: PHOTO IDs Required for Pick Ups and Volunteers - The District has implemented a new check-in procedure this school year. Anyone entering the building will be issued a printed badge from the office upon checking in. In order to get registered in the system, your DRIVERS LICENSE is required! Please be sure to have it with you or you will not be allowed entry. Also be sure to allow a few extra minutes when arriving to get checked in.
STAYING CONNECTED: Please spread the word to any new families- these newsletters will come weekly with important PTO information, so please make sure to join our email list. To subscribe, check out our website, www.reipto.com and scroll a tad down till you see subscribe now on the right hand side, enter in your email address, press submit, and your all done! You can also simply email us at reidpto@gmail.com to be added. Don't forget to join our Facebook group, Reidenbaugh PTO, where we share timely updates and reminders and often photos of our activities. If you have moved to another school district or if you child is not going to Reidenbaugh any longer, just send us an email with unsubscribe on the subject line.
