TRICK OR TREAT NIGHT: The MT municipality has just informed us of their decision to switch the date of Trick or Treating in MT from Friday, October 29 to Sunday, October 31 from 6:00-8:00pm due to the anticipated weather tomorrow afternoon and evening. The Township has safety concerns about children being out in colder and stormy weather. Sunday, October 31 has a favorable weather forecast that is warmer and with very little chance of rain. And since the students missed out on trick or treat last year, the municipality wants to ensure they have an opportunity this year.

PTO MEETING: Our next one will be on Tuesday, November 2nd at 9:30am at RES. Come swing by and say hello! We love new faces! Meetings do not last more then 1 hour.

HOPPERVILLE BOOKSTORE: The next one will be on Wednesday, November 3rd!

Please send in your gently used books appropriate for grades K-4. We do not need preschool books or magazines at this time. Your child can place books in the blue donation bin near the office. Please include your child’s name on the bag with the books in it so we can give your child credits to spend at Hopperville. Please send these books in before the day of Hopperville (not day of) so your child can have his or her credits in advance.

To simplify checkout and make things easier for parents, we are making all books 50 cents. School supplies range from 50 cents on up. We always ask children to select a book before the school supplies.

Our students LOVE buying "series" books at Hopperville (especially popular series like Rainbow Magic, Magic Tree House, Captain Underpants, I Survived, American Girl Doll books, Junie B Jones, Minecraft, Horrible Harry, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Dork Diaries, The Magic School Bus, Cam Jansen, Bad Kitty and Big Nate.) Thank you in advance if you are able to send in these books!

If you are interested in volunteering to help students check out or select books the morning of Hopperville, please contact Christine Gerben at Christine.Gerben@gmail.com.
