Coin Challenge

Hello Hopper Families!

We have a long weekend on the horizon. There is an Early Dismissal on Thursday, March 16th at 1:40pm and No School on Friday, March 17th and Monday, March 20th! Enjoy the long weekend!

Beginning March 13th, we will be having our Scholastic Coin Challenge. The Scholastic Possible Fund matches all of our donations so that your giving can help build our libraries and enrich all our children.

On Monday, March 13 bring in all your PENNIES and take your guess at how many countries are on the globe. The student with the closest guess in each grade will receive a free poster.

On Tuesday, March 14 bring in all your NICKELS and add a flight patch to your grade’s suitcase.

On Wednesday, March 15 bring in all your DIMES and guess the number of books in the suitcase. The student with the closest guess in each grade will receive a $5 gift certificate to spend at the book fair.

On Thursday, March 16 bring in all your QUARTERS and the 3 classes that raise the most money will be treated to an airplane snack.

On Tuesday, March 21 bring in any DOLLARS & COINS and dress in your favorite pjs and bring your favorite stuffy along for the day.

BOOK FAIR: Starting Wednesday, March 22nd, students will have the opportunity to shop with their homerooms. In order to make this event a success, we need volunteers to help with the classroom shopping, set up, management, and clean up. We are also in need of some food donations. Please see the attached sign up genius and assist if you can. Any help is appreciated!

ART SHOW: This will be held on Wednesday, March 29th from 6-8pm, along with the spring Book Fair. Please see the attached flyers to learn how your Hopper can participate! Check your child's folder for a paper copy.
