Hello Hopper Families!
We want to send a warm welcome to all new families and a welcome back to existing families! We are so excited for this school year! We can't believe it got here so quickly! Please make sure to check the green folder on a daily basis as it will contain important information. Check out all the first day papers, especially if you are new to the school. Lots of info about setting up a Sapphire account, dismissals, absences, etc. Also included is a calendar of all the awesome PTO events we have for the school year! It is also attached below. We will be holding PTO meetings once a month, most are held 9:30 am in person at the cafeteria, and two are held 7pm via Zoom. We will also have a zoom link available for all the 9:30 meetings if you can't make it in person. Meetings only last an hour. Our first meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 9th, at 9:30am, here at RES. Come here all the exciting things we have planned!!!
We will be having our first fundraiser of the school year on Tuesday, September 1st, at SONS ICE CREAM, located at 1991 Miller Road, E. Pete. Stop by anytime between 6:00pm-9:00pm. Son's will donate 15% of total sales back to the PTO! Tell your family & friends!
PICTURE DAY is Tuesday, September 8th. This info is in the green folder. Please reach out to your teacher if you haven't received anything.
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT: This will be held on Wednesday Sept. 9th between 6:00pm-8:00pm. You may choose to attend at the time that works best for your family. There is no need to come for the duration of the evening.
You may choose to drop-in or to come during a presentation time with a grade level. Specialists (teachers of specials and individualized supports) will be available as well.
Don't forget to bring your worn out/ outgrown sneakers ! We will have collection bins available! For more info, please visit gotsneakers. com.

6:35-6:50: Principal presentation in the Auditorium
6:50-7:05: 2nd & 4th grade
7:05-7:20: 3rd & Kindergarten
7:20-7:35:4th & 1st grade
7:40-7:55: Principal presentation in the Auditorium
This is a great week to get your CLEARANCES!!! ALL VOLUNTEERS who plan to help at school in any capacity (party helper, classroom volunteer, PTO, etc) MUST have all necessary clearances. It's simple, and only takes a few minutes. Please check out this website: https://www.mtwp.net/community/volunteer-information/ to find out exactly what you need. Parents already with clearances, please make sure they are up to date. Reminder, every year the Act 24 Arrest & Conviction form must be completed!
RES DIRECTORY: Join the RES 2026 - 2027 Directory! We are bringing back the school directory once again this school year. This is a great way for families to be able to connect for meet ups, playdates, and party invites. Flyer with the QR code is attached, or simply click on this link:

Attached are our planned PTO events for the school year so you can save the dates! Also, our first PTO Meeting of the school year will be Wednesday, September 9th, at 9:30am, in the RES Cafeteria. Come here more about these events and how you can be involved!

SEPTEMBER DAYS OFF: There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, September 4th, Monday, September 7th and also Monday, September 21st.
DISTRICT POLICY FOR VOLUNTEERS: PHOTO IDs Required for Pick Ups and Volunteers - The District has implemented last year a new check-in procedure . Anyone entering the building will be issued a printed badge from the office upon checking in. In order to get registered in the system, your DRIVERS LICENSE is required! Please be sure to have it with you or you will not be allowed entry. Also be sure to allow a few extra minutes when arriving to get checked in.
STAYING CONNECTED: Please spread the word to any new families- these newsletters will come weekly with important PTO information, so please make sure to join our email list. To subscribe, check out our website, www.reipto.com and scroll a tad down till you see subscribe now on the right hand side, enter in your email address, press submit, and your all done! You can also simply email us at reidpto@gmail.com to be added. Don't forget to join our Facebook group, Reidenbaugh PTO, and also our Instagram page, reidenbaughpto, where we share timely updates and reminders and often photos of our activities. If you have moved to another school district or if you child is not going to Reidenbaugh any longer, just send us an email with unsubscribe on the subject line.
