Greetings Hoppers families!
Yes, Field Day started on Friday! If you haven't had a chance to sign up for a station, please look at the posting below. Talking about sign ups, we need lots of help for our annual Spring Festival. The PTO is bubbling with exciting games and crafts for this year's Spring Festival. Please read on and sign up to help at least at one station for 30 minutes.
We had a fantastic turn out at our last PTO meeting and I must say I love this crowd. Thank you to each and everyone of you--yes, you!--who put some time into making Reidenbaugh a great place for our kids to learn and grow. Volunteers, event chairs, PTO board, teachers and staff.
We have two shout outs on this newsletter. First we want to say thank you to Kim Firestone for the amazing job organizing the Teacher Appreciation Week. We were able to spoil these wonderful professionals thanks to all the detail and hard work Kim and all her helpers put into this.
The other person we want to recognize is our librarian, Mrs. Jaclyn Griffith. She took time to analyse all the items we have available in the library and presented us a detailed information on the state of the library, based on age of items, items per students, print, audiovisual, digital, fiction or nonfiction, etc. This is a great way for us to see the whole picture and understand exactly where we can improve. Thank you!!
Also, Happy Mother's Day!!! The weather may not be ideal today, but we hope your kiddos are treating you extra special today! Sit back and relax and let them take care of you today!
Check out these pictures from the 1st Grade Books for Breakfast! We hope everyone enjoyed themselves!
PTO MEETING: As mentioned above, it was great meeting. If you missed it, you can check out the minutes from this and past meetings. Some people are moving out of the school and we might have openings for new faces on event committees. Keep your eyes open. Right now we need somebody to keep this website running. It's very low maintenance. If you are interested, please send an email to reidpto@gmail.com.
FIELD DAY: Fun, fun, fun! The kids absolutely love this day. We still have a few spots open. Come help us out. Click here for the sign up for this super fun day.
KIDS FOR A CAUSE: The last Kids for a Cause day will be Friday, May 17th. Get your loose change ready!!
SPRING FESTIVAL: As the Spring Festival draws closer, we are getting ready for our volunteers. If you volunteer 30 minutes of your time, we will be very grateful. If we all volunteer just 30 minutes our students and families will have a wonderful time. Please remember we can't make this event a success without your help!! Click here for the Sign up.
Please contact Beth Montague at e_c_green@yahoo.com or (610) 804-4949.for more information. Feel free to forward this post to family and friends who might be interested in being a sponsor at the largest Reidenbaugh event.
