Happy February RES Families!
Here we are in February, the month of Superbowl Sunday, Carnival, Chinese New Year, Bubble Gum day, President's day, Valentines, Make a Friend day and for the adults only: Drink Wine day and Margarita day. I just know this will be a wonderful month!! After a calm month of January, several events are starting to pop. Because it's Superbowl weekend, we are sending this out early so all of us can enjoy the Superbowl. Take a look!
PTO MEETING: Our February PTO Meeting will be this Tuesday, February 6, at 7:00pm. Come see us! We want to talk to you, hear your opinion and comments, share ideas, and much more. This is your time to tell us what PTO events your child likes, which other ones would you like to see in the school, where should we use our budget and if there's anything you would like to cross out. We will see you there!
BINGO TIME IS COMING: Our Winter Bingo Night is scheduled for next Friday, February 9, from 6:00 to 7:30pm. It's only $2.00 per person attending and each person will receive one bingo card to play the whole time. Please notice that admission won't be available at the door. Admission must be purchase in advance and your name will be on a list at the door. We have distributed the flyer where you can fill out how many bingo cards you would like. SHOE DRIVE: Reidenbaugh families, you are awesome! This is a portion of what we were able to donate so far. Funds2org will pick up the shoes and give them to organizations that distribute to those in need. The collection box is right in the lobby, outside the office. You can still bring in those GENTLY used shoes until February 19. All kids of shoes and all sizes are welcome!!
BOX TOPS: Box Tops sheets have been distributed for the month of February. Collection date is February 21. Remember, Box Tops for Education brings money to your child's school. Your clipped Box Tops are each worth 10 cents. Thank you for helping!
ISAAC'S FUNDRAISER DAY: On Thursday, February 22, take a break from cooking and purchase your lunch and dinner at Isaac's Restaurant. Make sure you tell them you are from Reidenbaugh and 25% of the checks come back to us.! It's good for take out or dine in. Tell your colleagues at work, other friends and family members. All they have to do is say they are there for the Reidenbaugh fundraiser. If you are ordering online, please use the coupon FUND. To help us earn even MORE, add an Isaac's Gift Card to your check and 15% of the gift card sale will be added to the fundraiser.
SPRING CLUBS: It is time to start planning for Spring Clubs and we need you! Do you have a passion that you would like to share? Do you love kids but don’t have any ideas for a club no worries we have plenty that we can suggest! We have a bunch of ideas to share with you! Maybe you would like to help but don’t have time to be in charge, we need helpers too! Clubs are meant to be an easy and fun experience for everyone. We would love to have you join us! Spring Club Dates Monday Mornings 8:00am-8:45am on the following dates: March 5, 12, 19 & 26. If you are interested please send and email to email@example.com by February 14, 2017.

From the office: If your student is a car rider for the day, please send in a note. No changes may be made to a student's transportation after 3:00pm.
Please send in an excuse note the date your student returns from an absence.
An educational trip request form must be received in the office 1 (one) week prior to the absence or it will not be approved. All school work missed during the trip will be provided after the absence
