Greetings Hopper Families!
How was your Family Lunch Week? Were you able to go have lunch with your child? Or maybe a family member went instead. The kids were so excited! I must applaud the parents going out of their way to make or buy the child's lunch just to make this lunch special. Parents and family members, you rock!! If you couldn't go and your family members were also busy or live far away, it's totally okay. Let me assure you that your child was still sitting with his/her friends and met a few mothers, fathers, grandads, aunts, etc. These adults probably made sure they interacted with your child too! After that, all the kids left for recess with huge smile on their faces!!
We have several things happening during the coming weeks, from early dismissal to Isaac's fundraiser day. Keep your eyes open for Box Tops, which will go home this week, and for the yearbook order, which will go home at the beginning of February. Have a great week, everyone!
EARLY DISMISSAL: Please write on your calendars, we have Early Dismissal on Tuesday, January 30. Make sure you have made arrangements for your student to be dismissed at 1:40pm. On Wednesday, February 1st, school resumes its normal hours.
PTO MEETING: Our February PTO Meeting will be on Tuesday, February 6, at 7:00pm. Come talk school with us. We would love to see you there, answer your questions and hear your comments!
BINGO TIME IS COMING: Our Winter Bingo Night is scheduled for Friday, February 9, from 6:00 to 7:30pm. It's only $2.00 per person attending and each person will receive one bingo card to play the whole time. Please notice that admission won't be available at the door. Admission must be purchase in advance and your name will be on a list at the door. We have distributed the flyer where you can fill out how many bingo cards you would like. SHOE DRIVE: MTMS is having a Shoe Drive and together we can make a huge difference is someone's life. Funds2org will pick up the shoes and give them to organizations that distribute to those in need. Reidenbaugh has set a collection box right in the lobby, outside the office.Please bring in your donations by February 19. All kids of shoes and all sizes are welcome!! We just ask it they are clean and GENTLY used shoes, please.
ISAAC'S FUNDRAISER DAY: On Thursday, February 22, take a break from cooking and purchase your lunch and dinner at Isaac's Restaurant. Make sure you tell them you are from Reidenbaugh and 25% of the checks come back to us.! It's good for take out and dine in. Flyers will be sent home this week.
SNOW MAKE-UP DAY: Please update your calendar with our snow make-up days. Monday, February 19 and Tuesday, April 3. These days will be full school days.

From the office: If your student is a car rider for the day, please send in a note. No changes may be made to a student's transportation after 3:00pm.
Please send in an excuse note the date your student returns from an absence.
An educational trip request form must be received in the office 1 (one) week prior to the absence or it will not be approved. All school work missed during the trip will be provided after the absence
