Hello Hopper Families!
The TALL SMALL FALL BALL is here! This event starts at 5:30pm and ends at 7:30pm. Please enter through the front office doors. Dress to impress, come as you are, or even wear a costume (nothing scary and no fake weapons please). For those participating in the PUMPKIN CONTEST: All completed pumpkins should be delivered to the stage tonight between 5:30 and 5:45. Please include a note card with the pumpkin creator's name, grade, and teacher. Voting will be from 5:45 until 6:45 on the stage. Prizes will be awarded to 1st ($25 Target GC) , 2nd ($15 Target GC) , and 3rd place ($10 Target GC). Winners will be announced at 7:15 pm. Pumpkins must be taken home with you at the end of the night. Â
Reminder, there is an EARLY DISMISSAL coming up on Tuesday, November 5th, at 1:40pm.  On this day, The PTO is hosting a MOVIE DROP OFF event at Penn Cinema. The movie is Migration (rated PG). The last day to register is Friday, October 25th. We are sorry, but we cannot accept walk ins or late registration. There is a cost to attend. Please see the attached flyer for more information
Red Ribbon Spirt Week is coming October 28th - November 1st. We encourage all students to participate!

TURKEY TROT FESTIVAL - Please join us at RES Playground on Saturday, November 16th, from 11:00 am - 2:00pm for this event. We will be having a .55 mile fun run/walk as a fundraiser followed by a festival! You do not need to be part of the run/walk to attend. This is an event for the whole family- admission is FREE.. We are also looking for CORPORATE SPONSORS. Please see the below website and attached flyer for more details.
CLASSROOM VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Volunteers are needed to teach JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT at RES this Spring. For as little as an hour a week for 5 weeks, you can make a difference in the lives of young people in your community. JA programs provide important life skills through hands-on educational activities focusing on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness. Everything you need is provided along with easy-to-follow instructions.
 We currently need volunteers in the following classrooms:

2nd- Mike Carney, Lizzette Anders
3rd – Marla Bennett
