Love is in the air

Happy February Hopper Families!

Isn't it amazing that we haven't had a snow day this year yet? We would love if it could continue this way. Although Dr. Felty won't see this, we would like to applaud her for her thoughtful consideration and decision on if and when to keeping the schools open. We are sure it wasn't an easy decision, as most of them aren't. They probably don't please everyone either. All we can say is that so far there has been minimal disruption to the parent's schedule and the early dismissal has kept our students safe from the worst of the storms. And, just between us, we do live in PA, we should be able to drive with a little snow on the ground.

Because it is Valentine's month, we'd like to share with you some beautiful cards we have received last month. It warms our hearts! To all our amazing volunteers out there, please read this because it is for you!

Dear PTO,

We are so appreciative of all of the time and effort that went into the Teacher Luncheon. The salad, soups, coffee and treats were delicious! Thank you for recognizing us as "Super Heroes"... you made our day!

~ 2nd Grade Teachers

Dear Reidenbaugh PTO,

Thank you for a delicious soup and salad lunch on Wednesday. The gift card for Barnes and Noble was also very thoughtful. The holiday lunch is always such a special treat for us. Fondly,

~ Beth Lester

Reidenbaugh PTO,

We are blessed with a thoughtful, kind and supportive group of parents. You made the Winter Wonderland Book Fair Night a success and the lunch was "Soup"er!! Thanks for all you do.
