Hello Hopper Families!
April is here and we are on the look out for Spring, who is running late! Is anyone done with snow for the season besides me? What's that I heard? You are done with snow for the whole year? I can go for that too! Let's try to forget about the weather and chat about more interesting things. We hope you and the whole family had a fantastic Easter weekend! We even had a bunny at school last week to bring a smile to everyone's face. What about the Open House? MANY THANKS to Jill Lubin and Kim Topf for the wonderful job with the Book Fair, which ran for an entire week! Check below a beautiful appreciation email from a teacher for all they did. Another big THANK YOU goes to Melissa Derderian, who coordinated the Art Show. It's always such fun to see all the amazing projects our students are up to, in and out of school.

Dear Jill and Kim,
Thanks so much for your efforts to run another successful and entertaining book fair. I want to thank you for all the treats and opportunities to engage and have fun with the students with the Clifford contest. I am sure that the snow day stressed you both out a bit, but it all went very well. Finally I want to thank you for the donation of books to my classroom from the proceeds of the fair. My classroom library is in need of some refreshing new books and you have certainly provided that.
Thank you and enjoy your long, well-deserved weekend! Sincerely, Mike Carney
